Not too much, not too little... just right.
The word ‘lagom’ was introduced by Bob, inspired by his time spent studying and traveling through Sweden. Lagom does not have a direct English translation. The Lexin Swedish-English Dictionary translates lagom as ‘enough, sufficient, adequate, just right.’ While ‘enough’ and ‘adequate’ may have negative connotations, lagom is entirely positive. It is ‘the right amount’ for each situation.
It is with this sense that we set out to provide the perfect fit, the right amount, lagom design for our clients.

The word lagom derives from one of two possible sources. The more dramatic version dates from the time of the Vikings. After a victorious battle, the Vikings would celebrate by passing around a bowl or drinking horn full of mead. As the vessel was passed around the team (laget om ), each would take the right amount so everyone would get as much as they needed, and the last Viking would finish the mead with enough for him. The more likely derivative is the archaic dative case of the word lag, meaning ‘law.’ In this instance, it refers to the laws of common sense rather than political rules.
